After looking at most of the reviews and videos about this device, i decided to get one. I honestly can say that it is a really good device and totally worth the price. It makes the gc output a lot cleaner and nice through hdmi and seem to run fine so far. I don’t feel like there is any difference between 720i and 1080i, but other than that, everything is nice and a lot better than those adapters for vga to hdmi which basically just convert the signal without any upscaling.

The best HDMI adapter for GameCube with the special plug, the screen quality is amazing. It’s easy to install and use, there’s a remote control but otherwise with Swiss it manages automatically. I use it on a 55″ Xiaomi TV, it’s better than the Wii in quality with an HDMI Wii box.

Happiness! I had never used the Digital AV OUT port on my GameCube before, and the only YUV cables that allowed me to use it were prohibitively expensive. Everything you need to connect a gamecube to a hd tv. Connected a pal gamecube and the image is very good. Default settings were the best for me, the scanlines look quite good but they produce a flickering on some parts of the image, but this may be due to the 480i image on pal. May get a flippy drive someday and use swiss to force 480p.

I have managed to force the progressive video mode with Swiss on a PAL console, but to do this I first had to activate the “force DTV” option and then force the video mode for the game (480p), as it seemed that Swiss was not aware that I was using the digital video adapter.

Game changer! much more crisp image than composite! it works right out of the box! i was looking around for more information as to why it needed a remote control, it seems it has to do with extra settings like stretching out the image and such. for that to work, it would need to be plugged into a power brick attached to the usb that’s provided in-boclx. if you’re fine with just getting 480p with 4:3 ratio like myself then you’re golden on plugging it in and getting straight to playing! first time i booted a game it didn’t automatically go into progressive scan mode. i held the b button down to have the screen pop up to ask if i wanted to turn on progressive scan mode. since then, every game that supports the feature has asked if i wanted to turn it on. not sure if it will be the same for everyone but just telling what happened to me. would recommend this to anyone wanting to get a better image out of their games! this only works on a 001 model of the gc so do your research beforehand!

It just works. You dont need to do anything for your gamecube to look better, just plug it in and all the default settings look great. If you do want to tweak it to your liking it has tons of options. I’m using a 4k tv and with this and i haven’t seen a single game look blurry like it does with a regular component cable. This device absolutely sharpens and clears up the picture.
You won’t find anything better for the price and honestly this is probably better than any device that cost double. Unless you want to spend $100+ this is perfect for what it does.

Perfect. The only problem was that my monitor did not accept 576i signals, but I activated the LineDoubler option blindly and now it works fine.
For those who need it, remove the back plastic from the remote control to access the battery, press the menu button and simply turn it to the right. If you see any “HMI out of range” issue, maybe you can fix it this way.

It worked extremely well. I’m not sure if it mentions it, but I noticed that it requires at least a 65W USB PD charger and a PD-compatible cable to function properly. You can say it’s a problem with the USB C charger if you don’t hear/see your GameCube fan spinning. Also, only 1 screw to replace the old power adapter (after removing the outer casing). I had no issues with shipping.
