Product is as described/pictured and upscales really well for the price. the colors are good. the only thing i’d say is lacking is the audio. worth the money especially if you get a deal, the packaging got a little smashed in shipping but it still works. it’s okay. just was under some heavy stuff. i’d post pictures but it’s exactly what you see on youtube, the image is clear and great! even setting it to 1080 on opl, very clear. if you’re using a 1440p monitor or something, you’d probably want to set it to 720 but i haven’t tested that yet in games that may support 1080i

Short answer: it’s worth it. Long answer: if you want to use PSX games here, you need to configure the video output of that game to the option compatible with the adapter (there is a method using OPL and a cheats.txt file that specifies it internally, and after that code, add a couple of enter keys and save it so it accepts it) and then go ahead. And oh, in native PS2 games compatible with that video output, the one I tested (Oogie Boogie Revenge) looks beautiful.

Order came in super fast! packaged neatly exactly as i expected. i was shopping others but this one is much better quality. easy to set up it’s literally plug and play. i do recommend first go into your playstation settings to change your video output from rca to rgb. if you don’t do this you will get a black screen. my only complaint is that the usb sticks a little too far out of the hdmi connector so you cannot stand your system upright without a stand but that’s not too bad considering the fact i lay mine down. definitely worth the money which was surprisingly cheap for such good quality. definitely recommend this to anyone looking to upgrade their ps2.
